# Eloping at Villa del Balbianello

Lombardy, Italy

Villa del Balbianello occupies a wooded peninsula near Lenno in Tremezzina, on Lake Como. Its eighteenth-century villa, ivy-covered loggia and terraced gardens offer a distinctive setting for a small ceremony and portraits.

A boat journey can become part of the day. Ceremony access and photography need to be arranged with the venue; allow time for the journey and a weather plan.
