Eloping in Lake Como

Lake Como sits in Lombardy, in northern Italy’s lake country. Mountains, lakeside villages and villa gardens give an intimate elopement a remarkable setting. Como and Lecco sit at the southern ends of the lake, with Bellagio, Varenna and Menaggio further north.

Zoe and Charlton’s elopement unfolded in Moltrasio on the western shore. They stayed at Passalacqua, with lakeside vows, portraits in the gardens and time together on a wooden boat.

Their Australian team included celebrant Josh Withers, photographer George Bowden and hair and makeup artist Valentina of Sunshine Brides, with flowers by Garden of Love.
