[Fig Tree Villa](https://www.instagram.com/figtree.villa.byron/) is a little garden hideaway in Ewingsdale, in the Byron Bay hinterland. A stand-alone villa, a wraparound deck and a garden of palms and established trees make it a lovely setting for a small celebration.

The appeal is in having a base for the whole experience. Get ready at your accommodation, walk into the garden for your ceremony and stay for portraits beneath the canopy. You can keep the evening close to home or make a separate dinner booking nearby.

The [host’s accommodation listing](https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/48017318) offers elopement arrangements by request. Confirm ceremony permission, guest numbers and accommodation details before booking; an overnight reservation alone does not establish those arrangements.

Choose a ceremony time with shade and the garden light in mind, and allow for rain or a cooler evening.
