# Eloping in Arthur Circus

Hobart, Tasmania, Australia

[Arthur Circus](https://batterypointwalk.au/locations/arthur-circus/) is a small circular green surrounded by historic cottages in Battery Point. The curved street, cottage gardens and nearby lanes offer a gentle change of scene for portraits after a Hobart ceremony.

Later summer light can be lovely here; in winter, allow for a shorter portrait window. It is a public space within a residential neighbourhood, so plan a small, respectful visit. Pair it with a stay in [Hobart](https://elopementcollective.com/locations/hobart) and [ask us about your day](https://elopementcollective.com/contact).
